Spotted this early model Unimog, with a canvas top at the grocery store across the road from work! World’s crappiest photo with an iPad2 from a ways across the road...
Never sold in Canada, ever, so these are incredibly rare here...first one I’ve seen in person in my 30 years on the planet! :D

I’m sorry, my bad. I thought the Canadian military trained with other country’s military:
Argentinian , British , Belgian , Danish , Dutch , French , Hungarian , Irish , Indonesian , Portuguese , Finnish , Lithuanian , Latvian , Greek , Swiss , Chilean , Bolivian , Mexican , Mongolian , Pakistan , Paraguay , Rhodesian and Singaporean armed forces. They are also used extensively by the Brazilian Marine Corps , the South African National Defence Force , the New Zealand Army , the Turkish Land Forces , the Australian Army , [6] the Luxembourgish Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army .
Was that a 404? It’d be nice to have one!

They do train with other countries, but their small utility vehicle of choice is the militarized version of the Gwagen, various militarized versions of Chevrolet trucks, and others. :)

Sorry, when you said ‘Join the military”, I’m from Canada, so I would assume the Canadian military. I am not sure where you are from, but as the Unimog is used by a lot of militaries worldwide, you could’ve thought the Canadian military used them as well - that was my train of thought, anyway! :)
